Prof. Victor Rosenbaum

VictorRosenbaum1Pianist, Born in Indianapolis. Graduated his master and bachelor degrees at Brandeis and Princeton Universities. Performed at the Alice Tully Hall in New York and throughout Europe and Israel. Known for his Hermitage Museumperformance and used to collaborate with such musicians as Leonard Rose, Arnold Steinhardt, Robert Mann, Joseph Silverstein, and Malcolm Lowe. Rosenbaum has appeared at such music festivals as Rockport Music as well as Yellow Barn and Kneisel Hall. He also participated at the Heifetz Institute and Kfar Blum festival and after that worked for Atlanta, Indianapolis and Boston Pops Orchestras.

Victor Rosenbaum2Rosenbaum served as conductor, composer, director, and President of the Longy School of Music of Bard College.He is also a teacher at the New England Conservatory[ and published many records under Fleur de Son and Bridge Records labels.

Victor Rosenbaum gave numerous master classes in such schools as the Menuhin and Toho Gakuen School of Music. He held the same position at London’s both Royal Academy of Music and Guildhall School of Music and Drama and then became Eastman School visiting professor as well as a guest educator at the Juilliard School.
